You would think that. Your welsh, a nation well known for being lead swinging benefit scroungers and a burden on the english taxpayer. Personally i’d force you to become independent so we don’t have to keep you all in pies and heroin anymore.

Sorry WBIS, you got away.

Oh, and Mods - I do know the rule “attack the post, not the poster” but I’m sick of the prick and his snide comments about all and sundry.

+1 :unamused:

Ex Haulier:
So, you pay polish income tax ?. Or you just don’t go back there ?.

I go back there sometimes, but I don’t have any property there, so I am not even a temporary resident. For the Polish state I am just another tourist from another EU country. Your case is different, as you are home owner, so you are at least temporary resident.

You stay in your own home, while I stay in hotels, or with family or friends, they already pay taxes and they are allowed to have visitors

If I need to see a doctor, Britain will pay for that, because I am resident of Britain and there is agreement that if I go to another country on business or as a tourist, I am still covered under some special european regulations nhs.uk/nhsengland/Healthcare … broad.aspx
(please note: going to live in your own house is hardly “tourism” or “business” so it’s good that you have your private insurance, as you might not be covered by this while going to your second home)

As for income tax question, you shoot yourself in your feet again  Off course I don’t need to pay any taxes in Poland when I go there for few days to see my family, as I am not working there (but I pay our 25% VAT on everything I buy!) But If I do any work in Poland I pay income tax, but to be honest with you I no longer get any money from Poland, as I not publish as much as I used to any more, and for that few pennies I got for my publications it’s not worth the hassle - last two articles I told them they got from me for free and asked them to donate the money to Wielka Orkiestra ÅšwiÄ…tecznej Pomocy charity organization instead

its not the ex-pats i was refering to,it was ex-haulier as he was slagging someone off for claiming what he is ENTITLED to .ex pats move to a country and set up home, its their life…ex-haulier is the one thats came on here argueing, causing trouble and giving his opinion on someone elses life.no-problem with anyone posting on here from anywhere in the world…just slag the goverment off for giving out rather than the person for claiming what he is entitled to

Yeah, go on mate. You get what your entitled to. Just make the best of it, you may find it don’t go on for ever.

Give it a rest :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

Yeah, no problem mate. When you stop sponging of the rest of us.

I was gonna come straight back at ya but youve already made yourself look stupid so youve done my job for me.
Now stop wasting your time on this forum & get to work as i need your money to pay for my 27 kids, my £450,000 mortgage, my 6 cars, private helicopter & my partner could do with some new shoes…oh & i could do with a holiday

Nothing gonna happen Rob, sorry. I’m done with his drivel, he can go and discuss it with his EDL buddies.

I guess the truth hurts and of course there’s nothing to counter it.

So a wee joke to finish it all:

RobK:
I guess the truth hurts and of course there’s nothing to counter it.

When he (or you) find some truth - as opposed to “opinion” then there may be some use in countering it. Ah well, I’m off to work to buy some pies and heroin

Just come back to driving after working as a Driving Instructor for 4 years and the pay is worse in transport now than when I left the industry.

When are we going to wise up and fight for decent pay for a 45 hour week not a 90 hour week? What happened to time and a half after 8 hours and on a Saturday, with double time paid for a Sunday?

Just been offered a job with Eddie Stobbart on a contract with Tesco on a permanent Thursday to Monday shift pattern all at flat rate. I would rather stack shelves in a supermarket than work on that basis.

Currently working on fridges with no overtime until you do 48 hours per week. Is it not time to stand together and demand a decent job with decent pay and conditions? Although my instincts tell me we are 20 years too late!

a stat i read a few months ago stated the for every £3.00 income tax paid in by workers £7.00 is paid out in benefits and social services.with figures like that something will give soon. just a thought :open_mouth:

And the same statistics for group of Polish workers shows, that we are still only the profit for the country.

That’s why you still need new emigrants.

no thanks stop all emigrants make all able bodied people who are on the dole work if there are any jobs to do :frowning:

But tell me: who STOPS them from working if they want working? There is plenty of work around, maybe there is not always your dream job, but hey, it’s a job and it’s paying the bills and filling your fridge!

If I was the employer, I would prefer much more to employ local people, familiar with local customs, habits and rules, with fluent local language (yeah, I am not to politically correct :stuck_out_tongue:), unless they were really crap workers.

I hear all the time, from Carryfast and likes that British people are superior… So why they can’t get a job and some newcomer from the world at the other end of Europe can? I work with the Scottish and English people all the time, and altough they are off course not superior to us, there is nothing wrong with them…

And please don’t start with that “they can have a living when they are pay low wages” - milions of people have living from minimum wages, and some are able to go on holidays or to send money to their families abroad…
