its not the worst looking truck in the world but must say i feel like it was a big anti climax with all the hype around it
aparently there is one in carlise in the green machinces wrap already to go
I like It. 
The cab front/grille are like the new Merc Actros to me, in as much as the choice of livery, colours can transfom it from ugly to super.
The little Volvo bar under the windscreen looks pretty out of scale - reminds me of the Marathon cut & shut job on the Ergomatic cab.
Interested in the push button park brake… not keen on those in cars.

The Chinese will copy anything! Wonder how they got hold of the drawings early?
When I first saw those models, I thought it was a bit of a generic bodge/copy and didn’t like it one bit. Looks better in the flesh.
The I-shift 2 sounds a treat - now all the other autos have caught up with the I-shift (after 10 years!), this one will be another quantum leap?
Yeah, like I said back there, it was posted in April and they’re pretty much bang on as far as I can see! Even down to the mirrors, everything! I was of the same opinion as you, someone had a guess at filling in the blanks on the heavily disguised trial trucks and came up with those monstrosities! Looks like we were wrong, they knew more than we thought, a LOT more! It is growing on me, but that mahoosive grill’s gonna take some getting used to.
Didn’t man run a load of tv ads when they released the tgx or was it merc ? One of the two kept popping up at the cinema & odd places.
On the FH16 are those spot lights up in the sun visor or just very fancy markers? Copying the DAF SSC there

no disguise, totally unwrapped, in the Volvo pale metallic green, pulling the Volvo promo trailer
i just been looking at this on website not too keen on it doesnt compare to new mp4 for looks or comfort but always been a fan of old fh cab and ishift so may grow on me
Looks like an ERF ECX Olympic from the side,feel a bit underwhelmed about it to be honest.
Not sure on the frontal area too as it looks like a big open mouth.

I thought exactly the same thing… not a good move for Volvo imo… can’t see too many operators wanting it. Its Ugly on the outisde… Cheap looking on the Inside… definite marks of the Olympic /Stralis / Pegaso Troner… in fact it looks as if Volvo have taken a bit of every truck out there and mashed it together… and then put that stupid badge on the front to say Volvo… much preferred it when it was in disguise, looked better!

In case you missed it Scania launched a new truck 6 months or so ago.
