When I was tipping at tesco,Reading,the notice said that all drivers must sit in the passenger seat.I was the only one to abide by this rule.Sometimes we dont do ourselves any favours.If I was the manager there and I seen everyone flout the rules,it would have an effect on what decision I would makeJeez…‘passenger seat’ what fresh hell is this ?
That dreadful place is seared in my memory,6 hours on my last container visit,i recall a huge number of bods in their putrid waiting room and ended up sat on the deck in the doorway,surfing the tablet craving rest strictly in horizontal mode.I’m assuming if they want you planted on the other seat you wouldn’t thus be allowed on the bunk for a rest in the truest sense? sort of rhetorical.
I think the idea is that you don’t sit in the driving seat, so as to reduce the chance of you pulling off the Bay while they’re still in & out of the trailer. Not saying it would make it impossible, just significantly less likely.
