405 quid a week tramping■■?

Assuming that’s salary then it works out at a neat £6.90 an hour since we know they’ll max hours out.

Thats before tax however so god knows what the post tax rates would be.

That’s shocking.

Having worked it out as an average 48 hour week is still 30p below minimum wage.

Either it’s a misprint or a 40 hour week average…or they need reporting.

4 day week = around £100 per shift.Obviously almost £9 per hour for a 12 hour shift. The work could be just easy pallet drops collections :bulb:
There are worse jobs especially in the case of South East living costs.
If they were that desperate for drivers it would be on agencies’ books.

It cracks me up when a firm calls itself a “Logistics” company, and it turns out they have a couple of poverty spec Merc Actros’, a few unmarked curtainsider trailers and a warehouse on a small industrial estate. Let’s face it, it’s a feeble attempt to make themselves sound more grandiose than they really are. Same with “Solutions”, and “Group”.

“Corporate Solutions Logistics” or “Strategic Logistics Solutions” are the most grandiose names of haulage firms I can think of. Especially considering they aren’t very big.

It’s like the Only Fools and Horses episode when Delboy makes Denzil call his new courier service “Trans-World Express”, when all he has is a Ford Transit…

As I said Curties are actually a fairly big outfit, and were once a well respected co.
All the pretentious ‘Logistical solutions’ ■■■■■■■■, and derisory pay rates are just making them into a joke…their founder member will be spinning. (Assuming Mr Currie is no longer with us btw  )

Which equals £8.33, which is below minimum wage. As said, so because it’s possible easy work let employer rip of the driver and pay him illegal … you are a gift that keeps on giving.
