Since we’re on about identifying cab builders, what about this one?

Or this one?

How about this one?

The front wheel could make it a Scania-Vabis LB 76.

It looks like what French PRP (Perez & Raimond Paris) offered in the late '40s, fitting home-buit cabs on ex-WW II International M 426 chassis. The front axle looks less wide than the rear one.

The drawbar outfit is an LVS75 with, I think, a van Buerden cab. IIRC, there is something about that coachbuilder on the LV thread, if you don’t mind ploughing through all the b.s. that others have put there. I thought I had a “chapter” on vB in my own archives, but can’t find it.

Good stuff, this. Keep posting, and keep discussing, mes amis.

Perez and Raimond.

Certainly quite resemblant to the De Jongh truck!

Indeed, I see what you mean now Paul. Thank you Michel for posting

I’ll have a quick glance on there, ta for the info

Interesting batch! The last one is a Rochet-Schneider. Is the first one a Beaver or a Hippo?

I think it’s a Hippo…?

The Mack has, I think, another van Eck cab. Is the chassis a B61, or 73 (or other)?
Edit- I think it’s a B61, judging by the rounded nose. Here’s another:

I think that’s a Nystrom cab, but stand to be corrected.

Another van Eck, by the look of it.

Hippos were the 6x4 version so assuming that’s not a tag-axle it should be a Hippo. R

If you zoom in, you’ll see it’s a double drive

My knowledge regarding cab- and coach builders is quite non-existent, but I do got some examples stored in a old shoe box…

Over to the specialists now…

At first glance, I would have said the first one was a Fiat, but it is LHD; so perhaps rather American. The other trucks are registered in Norway. So, I’d say Scania, Volvo or DAF with local or Dutch/German cabs.

Fiat made LHD and RHD lorries, as they preferred RHD for use on narrow, winding mountain roads so that they could see the edge! R

If you zoom in, a Norway plate is visible just below the windscreen. The numbers are quite close together, so maybe all the lorries belong to the same operator, or were based in the same town.

I’ll guess at a local coachbuilder, who appears to have used the front end of a bus.
