Slightly off topic but the police in Spain on the costas have started clamping British reg.cars,many of which have been in Spain for years without any VED or MoT.They must now have the means to access the DVLA computers.

Most of those being clamped are the ones sat by the roadside for more than 3 months, easily identified as long termers by the amount of white powdery dust which is in the air around here. A lot of these are old pieces of ■■■■ brought over as transport to the CDS and then abandoned. Theres a huge amount of brit reg scrappers around the Marbella and Benalmadena/Torremolinos areas…
Round my area vehicles on the street and outside residences are being clamped.They tired of some Brits taking the p I expect.
