Did loads of shoes, slippers, trainers, out of Elche area, and some other places. So far as I know, always in correct pairs. Large boxes each containing about a dozen, same style pairs, in assorted sizes. That way large boxes were sent to retail shop, without further handling or sorting.
Might be separated pairs for expensive shoes? But not the stuff we did.

I know what you mean,.and I agree, it’s an arse covering excercise.
Of the 3 possibilities you mention, in terms of load safety,.I’d say the MSA option would be the worst in real world, (not to mention most expensive) despite what the insurance companies say.
