When applying for our O Licence all the company directors were listed.
It’s looking like one of them is now leaving so what do I need to do?
Is it a full variation I need or can I send a cover letter and get him removed?

If it’s just removing a director then notifying them should be enough. If the change is a significant one where the entity that holds the licence is materially different it’s usually a whole new application. You can call the CLO on 0113 254 3200 and ask them for advice.

Yeah the entity is the same, just 1 lucky bugger taking early retirement!!!
Removing and adding directors is no problem, can be done online if you’ve signed up to self service. But if your adding a director they will send a declaration for the to sign and return, just like when you apply for an O Licence.
