Would it be easier to buy a company with an O license rather than go through the application process?
If so , if anyone knows a small firm thats looking to pack in Id be grateful for any info.

You would surely still have to transfer it over - change of Company Directors 
Otherwise these guys who get banned from holding o licence would just buy another Co.
