Cold turkey 35 years ago after smoking 30 a day for 20 years. I must admit I did not find it a problem; I just decided to stop and did it.
What I would like to know, though, is where is the money I theoretically saved? 
Somebody once told me that a boy starts to smoke to prove he’s a man. Thirty years he tries to stop for the same reason!
