The adverse weather has caused a pothole to open up in lanes 1 and 2 at M6 J6 Spaghetti Junction northbound.
Repairs will be made overnight tonight which will require a full closure of the northbound carriageway at this point. The diversion route (for northbound traffic only) will be to exit at J6 onto the A38M towards Bham as far as Park Circus (the first exit on A38M), and U-turn back along A38M towards M6 to re-access M6 NB.
The closure is expected to take place at approximately 8.30pm this evening and last until 6.30-7.00am tomorrow morning.
