I have received information this morning that they have stopped operating as a truck stop. This comes on the back of SNAP withdrawing their support last month, and the mass break ins to trucks on the night of 27th August. It is, apparently, a culmination of events over a period of time.
If you can’t be bothered to put in decent security once trucks get done over enough people will just stop using you. Doesn’t take long for the word to spread. Stockyard is another place that trucks get done but it’s fortunate enough to benefit from its location otherwise I’m sure it would’ve gone too.

Also doesn’t help that the new owners have been screwing over drivers/fitters/employees/customers for years through a company called Truckfast. Wouldn’t surprise me if they broke into the trucks themselves [emoji106]

And when was the last time you were there or had a night out,
They have security walking around all night, and a mobile patrol…
