Just looking for some info on the stockyard truck stop if poss.
What’s it like facilities etc
How do you pay ( I haven’t got snap account )
Is debit card ok
Does it get busy etc
Where do you pay
Think you get my drift just would like info

At the moment it’s takeaway food,which is good, just no carvery. only, showers are open,… When it’s open and in full swing with the bar open,you can chance your arm with pull a minter. Corrected for accuracy MUNTER

The stockyard growlers (I mean cougars) need feeding as their regular feeding grounds ie: the pubs around here are shut

I witnessed them at work a few weeks ago, I was reversed parked near the exit gate which was shut. I got out my cab just before midnight to wind the legs down on the rear of the trailer as I was worried about a air leak and didn’t want to find the back end of the low riding hospitality style trailer buggered on the concrete slabs behind the wheels.

Noticed a car parked on the road outside and within seconds heard a few yells and the noise of someone launching themselves over the gate and getting in the passenger seat and driving off. Two security guys with torches on walkie talkies and then a security car turned up to look for any others I guess.

Better there then motorway services.

That’s better than it used to be.

Had a close call with the resident growlers once. Was there with a colleague so we were both in the bar being cajoled by a cluster of them when all.of a sudden my colleague announces that were both gay :open_mouth:

This was news to me but their reaction towards us changed and instead of being targets of debauchery we became honorary girlfriends for the evening until we made our excuses and headed back to our respective trucks.

They’re ruthlessly efficient in their search for willy :laughing:
