Lst trailers

did two days lst training last week. Pulled at least two lst trailers each day of my night shift but can’t make my mind up if I prefer pulling them or not.
A lot less input needed for reversing but the swing you get with the rear wheel steer and extra two metres length makes my bum twitch at times.
Anybody else have experience pulling lst’s?

Two days? My LST training consisted of “There it is, get on with it”. :stuck_out_tongue:

We have about six of the 15.6m types and they’re ok as long as you’re careful but you need to be on the ball with the tail swing otherwise you’ll side swipe a pedestrian if turning sharp right for example.

Just to add my training was a spin around the yard and park it up so all of about 5 mins plus 10 minutes chatting about rear end swing etc.

Been using them for at least a year now, don’t find them a problem, but I only use them for trunking between depots
