45 min break

When you take a 45 break I am right In thinking its 30 min then 15
Why does every site I look at state 15 then 30?

Because that’s what it is :unamused: You are wrong, the internet is right…

God save us all

Just looked at his other two posts. Troll…

Troll ?

If it’s a WTD break then yes perfectly legal.

Right so after 6 hrs wtd its a 30 min break, upto 4,5 hrs driving its either a straight 45 break or 15 mins then 30 mins … correct

Incorrect.

After 6 hrs of work have a 15 min break, driving can be split but it’s 15 & then a 30 .

There’s no reason why your tachograph analysis should advise you it’s wrong, having 30 minutes for the 6 hour rule isn’t wrong it’s just more break than you legally need to have.

Plenty of people get the 6 hour rule wrong, but to be honest you should really know about split breaks.

Have a read of Rules on Drivers Hours and Tachographs

The rules haven’t changed significantly since 2007.

If my memory serves me correctly the last change was in January 2008 when the we started having to carry 28 days of records instead of 15 as it was previously, so that’s over 6 years without a change.

Having an hour break every now and then is probably the easiest way for a relatively new driver to lose his job.

Why would they, it aint wrong. If you were having 14 minutes then they would be advising you as that would be wrong.

You require a minium of 15 minutes, you are meeting that requirement by having 30 so it would be a strange analisys company who advised you it was wrong.

Again WHY do people find the need to go for 6 hours before they have a break■■?
Do your Office Staff go 6 hrs before they have a break,NO they don`t,bet your life they have a T break after 2-3 hrs and then lunch half way through the shift and T mid afternoon and then home after 8-9 or at the extreme 10 hrs
SO WHY SHOULD YOU GO ANY LONGER TO GET A BREAK
