Dont know if its already been posted but just incase it has not, its an update to the video that was posted of the car coming down the slip road and straight into a truck causing it to flip.
I just love the bit “Quote” "She has shown remorse for her actions and does wish to make a public apology to everyone involved
Followed at the bottom by “Quote” She declined to comment after the case.
2 year ban?? thats a joke, if someone is thick enough to turn into a slip road of oncoming traffic then they shouldnt be allowed on the road at any time. hope the lorry driver who got injured is having a good claim up on her insurance

i’ve heard of people getting less than that mate & they’ve killed some one!!!
Harry Monk:
Personally I think the sentence is proportionate given that it was an error rather than a deliberate action.
either way, that dangerous driving conviction should keep her off the road for a long time as her insurance is going to be sky high. with a bit of luck she is gonna be too scared to get behind the wheel again

The report does mention that some signs had now been put up, so perhaps that shows that there was a flaw in the signing previously.
Another foreigner causing carnage on our roads. Should put them all on the next boat and send them all back where they came from
…
I would hazard a guess that she was born here.
And this was a very inexperienced driver, if she’d only had a licence for 2 weeks, and she won’t get her licence back after a 2 year ban, but will have to take another test.
Personally I think she is one very lucky young woman, to go head on towards 2 trucks and survive. Also pleased to read that the truck driver wasn’t seriously injured.
She seems quite a fit lass to me and if I was a magistrate I would always take that into account when sentencing someone. Which is why I’m not a magistrate.

looking at the googlearth image I can well see why an inexperienced driver could make a mistake, the only markings appear to be the white arrows on the road and the offside one is quite faint.
I agree that she should have been aware but…mistakes happen

Personally I feel sorry for her. She had only passed her driving test three weeks earlier. She made a mistake, but the fact that the signage has since been changed indicates that at the time of the accident it was insufficient. It must have been a terrifying experience for her, both during and after the incident and I have no doubt that it preys on her mind for hours every single day.

I can’t resist to comment that she was trained up to famous British Standards by the British driving school and she passed a test in Britain to gain British license
So this will be so much for comments on national question, can we come back to the relevant stuff? I for that one agree with what Harry Monk says.

Perhaps she was invited to go out the back, and “talk to the Judge” behind the skip
