I quite like our S plate 7.5t Iveco (22m Aerial Platform). It does double figures on MPG, doesn’t smoke much, and as no one likes to drive it as it’s a bit noisy I get on with it quite well :slight_smile:

Apart from that, I’ll drive any of the companies trucks, but I prefer the Iveco’s :slight_smile: The newest is a W plate (in our yard) :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

One of lads left to go to Stobarts a few weeks ago,and has rung up for his job back,because he says there’s more room in the RENAULT PREMIUM,than a Scania.

Daf xf superspace please … nothing fancy and frilly just make sure its got the full air deflector kit on it (oh yeah and brand new )
And has anyone else seen the review on the new xf 105 … nice! (though im not completly sold on the spotlights in the roof … may grow on me …dunno )

It would be nice if we had a 7.5t with a slightly larger cab, something to stick our stuff away; perhaps even with a sleeper unit in some of them. But I think that’s too much to ask… :unamused: :open_mouth: :unamused: :laughing:

Any Volvo big or small, reliability and comfort is second to none and the I-Shift is without a doubt the best gearbox i have EVER used.

A Mercedes-Benz Actros for me please.

Very comfortable, goes well and just a very nice place to spend 12 hours a day.

I think M-B bunks are the best in the business, and the interior is very quiet too.

DAF XF super space cab and ZF 16 manual box + Merc Actros Mega Space floor and arm rests + Volvo FH steering components, zorst brake, side lockers and early FH mirrors + Scania V8 engine.

There. The perfect truck. :laughing: :sunglasses:

On a serious note, it’d be a toss up between a mk 1 Volvo FH or a current Daf XF.

Older Volvo FH with Scania V8 engine (and twin splitter). If this isn’t possible then mk 1 Volvo FH and cab on iron springs.

I drive a merc maga space,not a patch on the daf ssc 530 i used to drive. But then again not much is,in my opinion.
