You who spoil it for the rest of us

After reading the Aberdeen parking thread about some dirty bastds leaving rubbish and crap on a Asda park at Porthleven that allowed us to park there, and got us banned :smiling_imp:
it got me thinking about actual drivers on this forum
It dawned on me that we can not ALL on here be clean living proper responsible drivers on this forum.
By the law of averages there MUST be some of the ones on here that continually spoil things for the rest of us, and give the rest of us, with better standards, the bad name that we all as truck drivers have …because of you.

You know the types, the ones that spoil things for us.

The dirty â– â– â– â–  who leave crap behind them after parking causing all the overnight parks to close, because people are sick of cleaning up after them.

The smelly scruffy ■■■■. s who never wash, …let alone shower, that make the public perceive we are all like those sort.

The selfish arrogant â– â– â– â–  poor drivers who show no consideration to other truckers on the road, let alone cars and the general public.

The ones that don’t let you in, or keep you out in lane 2 after you have made space for them,… then they speed up and leave you hanging like a ■■■■.

The tossers who cut in on your windscreen after almost overtaking you…they ‘don’t NEED flashed in’ they say. :unamused: :smiling_imp:
And any ‘‘Drivers’’ that I may have forgotten that ■■■■ up our job and day for us.

So if you are on here (and you are) why don’t you either change your ways or ■■■■ right of out of the job, and leave the rest of us to get on with it.

You know who you are don’t you!! :bulb:
How many of you are man enough to admit it.

Well put

I’ll own up to this one which is if I couldn’t ■■■■ pass you quick I wouldn’t bother trying to pass there for I don’t always need flashing in ,thanks .whos going to own up to not washing though !!

They’re more commonly known as w*****$!

Too right mate. I’m afraid it’s going to get worse because some of the ■■■■■ gaining their HGV licence these days I wouldn’t pay them in Co Op cheques never mind british Stirling.
It’s acregu occurrence these days to overtake another truck and then them not having the common decency to give you a flash back in or even you pull out to let another truck onto the motorway only for the prick to keep you out in lane 2, undertake you and not give you a thanks, kiss mi arse or ■■■■ all :unamused:
Also the ■■■■■ who keep you out in lane 2 when you are overtaking them, you get 3 quarters past and then they get a slight momentum of 0.1 seconds a mile on you and won’t even ease off the cc a couple of clicks.
Mind you there are a few old heads out there who think the sun shines out of their arse and are the best of the best and do all they can to come across as complete retards who have done this, that an t’other when all they have really done is multi drop on pallet network. For every young head who is a prick you can bet there is an older head who is completely the same.

Don’t be shy Robroy, say what you think!

As for the comment about new drivers entering the industry, that may or may not be true. But for me I’d suggest the opposite is true, as I know I’m still learning and have no wish to ■■■■ of my more experienced peers with poor driving etiquette. I don’t need any help in looking a bellend, and as such try to be as considerate as possible to my fellow road users, especially as in my normal gig, it’s quite surprising how many other drivers you bump into/see on a regular basis.

Can’t see where I mentioned new drivers bud
Not all new drivers are bad, and if they are they are still learning, (some never lesrn after saying that) and not all old drivers are good either tbh.

It wasn’t your comment mate, it was SteveBarnsleytrucker’s. I just think that new drivers are generally more than lightly to keep their necks wound in when driving while learning the ropes…

I don’t usually reply to any of the comments made on the the site but I feel on this occasion I must reply, well put mate I can feel the anger in your comments and fully agree with you.
The jobs hard enough without some c…t making it harder Ie cutting you up leaving sh. t
In parking areas and bottles of p…s everywhere

Punchy Dan:
I’ll own up to this one which is if I couldn’t ■■■■ pass you quick I wouldn’t bother trying to pass there for I don’t always need flashing in ,thanks .

Don’t want to get bogged down with the flash in thing Dan, as it has been done to death on here, but not many do ‘NEED’ flashed in (it is just that what those tossers who take off your mirrors usually say :unamused:)
I certainly don’t '‘need’'it as such, unless visibility is bad…sun, fog, heavy rain etc.
I look upon it more that the driver is comfortable with the space you have left him, so I tend to exaggerate the space I leave if not flashed, as I know how it ■■■■■■ me if I am cut in on, as for not getting flashed in…couldn’t give a toss tbh.

Regardless of new or old drivers, it is simply bone idleness and a complete lack of pride. Finished with your food packaging? Good…throw it on the floor then. Need to screw your trailer round? But if I do it here I will need to mount that nice mown grassed area and put huge furrows in it…ah well, [zb] it-it’s not mine. Turning left/right? Don’t need to indicate…I can’t be arsed. ■■■■■■■■ to others who slow for me and lose all momentum because of it. Using someone elses motor? ■■■■■■■■ to them…I cant be arsed using air suspension, if grease gets all over the door and seat it doesn’t matter to me.

In fact,…■■■■■■■■ to everything and everyone. This unfortunately Rob is the ’ new ’ standard of most peoples attitude sadly.

The problem is that you could get 100 trucks park somewhere and leave it tidy and no one bats an eyelid (and why would you nothing has stood out to you) but then you get 1 scruffy belend who leaves his tosco bag and ■■■■ and that’s noticed and ruined the reputation of the previous 100 too.

As with everything in life it’s that minute percentage of small minded ferkwits that ruin it for everyone.

Damned annoying I’ll agree.

Just for the record, my rubbish always stays with me in a carrier bag until I find a bin (that’s not overflowing which isn’t always easy) my ■■■■ went into a Yazoo bottle that would get poured down a storm drain, this is actually a lazier way of doing it as I don’t even need to leave the cab to take a ■■■■ so laziness surely can’t be the only factor here?

I dont chuck rubbish out the window or were am parked up.It goes in the bag hanging on the seatbelt clip and when its full it goes in the side locker until i get a bin or sraight in a bin its not hard. Also i dont â– â– â– â–  in a bottle or â– â– â– â– â–  in a bag always park were i can go to the toilet and have a shower.

It does â– â– â– â–  me off it only takes a couple of drivers and they close it no wonder the goverment or any council dont want anything to do with lorry drivers.

Like myself, my mate has parked at the small ind est at behind the town pubs and cafes at Bamber.
He stayed twice one week and both times 2 drivers of one bed firm parked there, both times leaving crap behind them.
He picked it up to prevent being banned…he shiuld not have had to.

those who went and got a cpc card spoilt things for the rest of us rob. those of us who were prepared to get out of the game unless things change got out those who went and got there cards and still in the game have to put up with asda car parks being full of turds and losing anywhere to park up
at that rate mate it will not be to long then till you end up in a lay by with no were to go for a turd like i described in the other thread, you would then join the turd in the cab drivers  or toilet bog roll drivers to give them a decent name

I should’ve stated that I ■■■■ in a bottle if it’s last thing before getting my head down or if I wake in the night, ■■■■ getting dressed just to take a leak, and fortunately I’ve never needed to dump into a bag and don’t see me ever needing too, that’s the only thing I’ll use Motorway services for is to take a dump.

But strangely arousing, (so Dipper_Dave says anyway)

But yes that’s annoying, last time it happened I later had the idea of putting toilet tissue over the sensor but as I’m not on the road any more I never got to try the theory out so don’t know if it works or not.

I got on the stena fast ferry at stranraer one night about 10 years ago decided to have a shower and I hopped in and hopped out again very quickly some bollox had been in before me and not only had he had a shower bit he must have had a dump while having it. There was crap all over it. I asked the staff to clean it and they told this was a common occurrence on the boats.

I agree totally with this as this is the main reason that nobody wants trucks parking anywhere near them, Many do leave the places they park a tip and a health hazard as well. Not all do it but these filthy ones do ruin it for everyone else. Car drivers are no different many of them do it but it is only the truckies who get blames.
How can you change the mindset of those â– â– â– â– â– â–

The overtaking one â– â– â– â– â– â–  me off the most. 99.9% of the time, after holding you out for 8 miles, said helmet will drop back 300 yards after you pull in :unamused:

■■■■■■■ in the cab is a no no for me. If you can’t be bothered to get out for a ■■■■■, what else can’t you be bothered to do

Too many drivers have a ■■■■ poor attitude to the job full stop. Usually identified by a beat up, stinking, filthy cab. Would you ■■■■ in your own front room? Or a friends? Why your companies truck then? Same for clearing up spilt coffee, wearing muddy boots and countless other things. It might not have cost you £100k, but it did cost someone that.

Have some respect for yourself, and others
