Correct they have been there 5 years since moving from hams hall Warwickshire, the plan was to give it 5 years to turn the business around, the 5 years is now up, the problem is they are renting the transport building and yard which was only intended as a temporary measure until they built transport offices and gate houses on the site they own in midland road which is adjacent to the main parcel hub. but there are now issues regarding building on that site, due to neighboring property’s/neighbors and alleged ground contamination, the plan was to move the transport operation including tractor units and trailers to that site vacating the current site it is now on hold, that’s why they need to move to a suitable site, also the rented transport site is wanted back by the owners.
up date on yodel wednesbury, i’v not long been out of a meeting, the move from wednesbury is now been put on hold until next year.
up date on yodel wednesbury, yodel won’t be moving premises, all planning applications have been cleared and the building work on the adjacent yodel transport site at wednesbury/willenhall will be started next year.
Sorry lads and lasses if this has already been mentioned but does anyone know of any details of jobs available at the new YODEL hub on the Black Country Routr in wednesbury, rates of pay, hours, phone numbers etc…
