Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania said on Saturday they would close their borders if Germany or other countries do the same to stop refugees coming in, warning they would not allow the Balkan region to become a buffer zone for stranded migrants.Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borisov announced the decision after meeting his Serbian and Romanian counterparts in the capital Sofia ahead of a planned summit of European Union leaders on Sunday.
It is an indication of the divisions that have opened up between European Union states over how to deal with an influx of hundreds of thousands of migrants, many fleeing conflict in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.
“The three countries, we are standing ready, if Germany and Austria close their borders, not to allow our countries to become buffer zones. We will be ready to close borders,” Borisov told reporters.
“We will not expose our countries to the devastating pressure of millions that would come.”
It’s more case of Merkel ‘inviting’ them all in with the Balkans being more of a complicit transit area not a buffer.Until/unless we see all the Balkan governments openly defying and disagreeing with Merkel’s plans,by closing the borders and using deadly force to turn back the ‘refugees’ as part of that,I’m going with planned Stasi infiltration and destabilisation of Europe with Balkan claims just being diversionary bs in that regard.
IE what relevance has Germany’s/Austria’s etc open borders got in the decision to close the Balkan routes at the Balkan/Asian borders ?.Being that the choice is obviously either open borders creating just a transit issue not an immigration one.Or closed borders just means nothing enters.Meaning no issue of the Balkans being a ‘buffer’ full of stranded ‘refugees’ in either case.Also why does Russia seem to be so keen on helping them through.While as I’ve said our own government is hopelessly crippled by the Socialist/cheap labour agenda.On that note it’s obvious that we’ve got a documented Stasi supporter effectively in control of the EU among other socialist interests.Or when the Chinese say jump our own ‘government’ answers with how high,as obvious appeasement of Chinese militarism.
No surprise in that case that we’d be subject to a Middle Eastern/North African invasion which a Russian/Chinese/Middle Eastern alliance would see as beneficial in diluting and destabilising the previous western alliance ranged against it.While even our own national security agencies seem to be asking some questions as to what the zb is our government doing in that regard.
