That’s exactly what I told her last time we talked. She never talks with her mouth full, so you can’t be a big lad.
Only the 7th of January and already we have a contender for post of the year!

I never understand why people want to drive with their curtains half way across the windows anyway! It just makes awkward oblique junctions even worse and for what purpose■■? I’m sorry to those that like the look but I just don’t get it [emoji47]

if you cant see out, then nobody can see in,so you dont get done for being on the phone, drinking your coffee, watching telly or buttering your sarnies.

Oh, just a quickie; if the authorities are jumping on the restricted side vision being such a safety issue bandwagon are we going to see said authorities prosecuting those driving whilst wearing headgear such as a burqua? Or is that one super heated potato that’s too hot to handle?I have never been stopped while driving in a hoodie, so I doubt it.
I’ve oftentimes wandered why some people drive with a hood over there head, seriously.
So, now is my chance to ask.
Er why, if you don’t mind me asking.
So no one will recognise me in the pile of scrap car I drive…
Andrejs:
My truck now.
Did the load shift, or was it a cross wind that put you over?

£100 fine am afraid if you get a young upstart from the dvsa in the uk stops you, the go boxes and sensor would be acceptable though
First day back since Christmas hols, …first thing I was told was I will have to pull back my curtains as it is ‘‘now illegal’’.
Apparentlly some knob refused to take my truck out yesterday rather than just pull the curtains back and crack on… he thought it a much better idea to make a drama out of it, and to grass me up to the office.
Don’t you just love the (type of) guys you have to work with eh
One in every firm mate, possibly two…ha ha
It upsets me that folk from the outside of the cab come here looking for the opinions of those who live on the inside the cab & this is what they get.
We really are our own worst enemy aren’t we?

Nah we’ve got a whole lot more arse crawlers and weasels at our place than that TB
Happy new year to you btw.

They can take them all out when they get here because I very kindly help fund the road network so they don’t have to [emoji57]
Good like that me [emoji35]

It won’t make any difference because they can’t see through the screen anyway

Yep, never understood people like that, and I’m sure we’ve all known them in our time. As an agency driver if I was required to drive an allocated truck where the curtains were obscuring the side view, either out or in, then I would just pull them back, and I would even move them back to the original position at the end of the shift. The whole procedure wouldn’t take a hundredth of the time it would take me to march into the office and ram my tongue up the Transport Manager’s back passage.
Punchy Dan:
I don’t have tassely like some [emoji38] but I have started pulling the top of the curtain across to keep the sun off ,I’d sooner pay the £100 now n then than risk skin cancer .
Cheaper to just by some sunscreen though.

Have a look at these trucks, notice the dealer sticker right above the wipers in the middle of most of them. Amazingly they still pass mot. other dealers available.

Every time at mot I am told by the tester that he could fail me for having a dash cam yet the bottom of the camera is higher than the bottom of the external sun visor
