When you get scenarios where the culprits are seen clearly on Camera, and are known to the police, - do the police “let it go” because it would be considered “racist” to arrest those responsible, because they represent some kind of exempt ethnic group that cannot be touched?

yep dare say that they do but the amounts being taken at times they must have a fuel station somewhere…
but seriously if someone came up to you and offered cheap fuel would you turn it down? good for you if you can tbh i,m not sure wether i would, i consider that the govt are as bad with how much tax on i,t reduce the tax and then fuel wont be so expensive?
there have been many posts on here about drivers pinching fuel and at my place i have known 5 guys get the sack cos of it, and another couple nearly got sack… all i,m saying is its not always gypsies that do the deed…

Nope there’s be my first port of call. We’ve been done twice and there’s a camp up the road. First was 6ish years ago. We had one of our manf2000 taken out of a farm were we used to be,not before any metal lying around was loaded onto it before they went. We found the lorry 2 days later hid in an industrial estate. Apparently there stolen and hid somewhere to see if they’re tracked or not then they come back for them. He other was from our new yard about 4 years ago they broke in sat night nicked a lorry and machine and emptied the diesel out. We took it In turns to go up at night and keep watch because we knew they a be back I left on the the at about 11 get a phone call at 1 my boss pulled in to find our wall knocked down and to blokes on our machines putting them on two lorrys that they had nicked and bought to our yard. My boss gave chase they got into a car that was hid around the corner and guessed where he chased them to, yep the gypsy camp. The police were called they. Came as far as the travellers gates and that was it. The machines where taken away for prints and came back with a match from you guessed it a traveller, did he get nicked nope because we couldn’t prove we had never hired it to them absolute joke the old bill don’t want to get involved with them.
They know this so do what the [zb] they like.
Mmm couple of large dogs in the back of the bosses car would’ve sorted things somewhat.

Your exactly right winseer. Jan last year me n the misses popped into a petrol station I grabbed a jar of coffee and a mag and she was getting a drink next thing 2 travellers come in hands all over her and saying things you don’t say to women. When I walked over and told th to get the ■■■■ off her one of them asked who I was I told them I was her bf then one of them laid into me the only thing I had in my hand was a jar of coffee and a magazine and you can guess what I used to give some back. The police caught them and guess what as soon as they realised they were travellers I was advise to drop my accusation because I used an “offensive weapon”. My mrs was ■■■■■■■■ assaulted by them I had a broken nose and I was expected to defend us with a magazine wtf!. Admittedly I may have gone slightly over board with the coffee jar but was I not untitled to?. The old bill just don’t want the hassle of getting involved with them hence why they do what they want when they want.

I know of a firm who ran a remote tip that had had visits from the diesel fairies; So they contaminated a barrel of diesel with sand/water. Sure enough the fairies nicked the diesel and a couple of days later, returned and took a 12 bore to the bulldozer.
