Xmas bonus

A Turkey, quite useful this time 8 year [emoji16] plus I got the lads on the forklifts a couple of tubs of chocolates. They do a great job loading and not one I’d want to do.

Although to be fair we got a nice xmas card with a snowman and a robin and stuff on it.

Tj916:
£100 in pound notes which was nice.

Especially as they’ve not been legal tender for over 30 years…

The biggest bonus anyone can get is time off a Christmas cracker or a fiver means nothing
If i worked for a company that gave me time to be with family then that’s better than a fiver or 200 quid
Why is there some people who live to make money at Christmas is it for the rest of the year they can brag they made so much a hour
Everyone to there own thing and opinion so that includes me
It’s a very lonely person who volunteered to work Christmas day and my heart goes out to them they won’t ever admit it but there you go if working is better than spending time with family that’s fine but sure we never know the real reason for it but if that’s what gets you through then go for it
As mrs brown says it’s ■■■■■■■ Christmas enjoy

But we are talking about Christmas bonuses (i.e. an annual bonus traditionally paid at Christmas), not extra pay for actually working over the Christmas period…

Hello there,

We got a bottle of wine, but to be fair we are off from 20th to 3rd January, paid at the highest day rate.

So can’t grumble too much.

Merry Christmas mate

2pound a day for 5 days a week 520 a year so long as ue not off sick or u lose 10 for every week u off plus a turkey.did get extar 200 if u did not have a accident if it was not ur fault allowed 1 without lossing anyhting then next one 75% down to 50 for next then nothing if u had more.but that cut the other year and few drivers ■■■■■■ off as we did not get any letter to tell us it was not happening any more.

Delivered 20% more product than last year, under my guidance. Thanked my for my hard work and effort and gave me £800.

Not complaining apart from the tax on it!

£500 = 100% attendance bonus.

the wife got 15 quid bonus this year…15 quid more than me.

No bonus, but I did get a 400 sheet tax rebate

simcor:
A bulging bag of chocolate and a bag of DHL branded goodies oddly this year, a mug, 2 pens, lanyard, tin of mints and a water bottle. Better than flip all I guess.

can’t afford much,with a 1000 new Volvo’s to pay for! we got a bottle of wine,and a small box of chocolates

Nothing. But as I don’t get the company anything I’m happy with that.

4 bottles of corona

We did get one - forget the amount off hand but was a little below 100. All pre tax of course.

Only oddity is the whole “despite difficult trading conditions” or similar which is tagged onto it every year with exactly the same wording every year. (Same one for pay rises too).

Grateful for the extra but couldn’t they give it without hinting that maybe we’re just a burden to the company esp as we never ask for these bonuses and we’re a pretty critical part of a transport company.

Pretty sure a little over £11 hour nights CE is not overly stretching them when you see the unnecessary agency bill.
