WTD, What is..

…your average weekly hours? Do you know?
i can honestly say, I have absolutely no idea what mine are, and have never asked.
I also have no use for POA.

Not got a scooby, no idea.

Kaistar:

I have a feeling that will be the top answer.

Yep, most weeks between 40 and 46, so a mean average of 43.

I have no idea.

Ditto! word for word.

poa is the biggest load of bollox ever.

I’m in the same boat, but I do use POA whenever possible. If I arrive to a drop and get told it’ll be a half hour wait, bang it straight on POA and make a mental note of the time spent on POA. I recommend Trucker Timer App which I’ve been using this week to record all hours on your phone. It’s £3 odd and it’s great. It records everything exactly the same as what’s on your digi card but you can look at the data on your phone, in real time and you can look at the daily/ weekly and 26 week total at the end of the day/week etc.

57 hrs, just got another letter about being put through company procedure if indent get it back too under 48 hrs.
No,hope of that happening ,77 hrs last week,56 hrs apx WTD ,just goes from bad too worse

I use POA as much as I can, cuts down on infringements, less chance of getting dragged into the office:mrgreen:

How does it cut down on your infringements ? It could create more as it can cancel out driving time, I never ever use poa as I’m salaried just bare 45 every day.

And answering the OP we can ask anytime or look at our drivers notice board for our average hours.

50 hours per week for the last four months.
Tiredly yours
Paul

So what you’re saying is that you cannot work out averages?

BillyHunt:
So what you’re saying is that you cannot work out averages?

…and hes at it again. Dipping your toes into the troll pond again, Billy? You just cant resist it, can ya?

Clearly, weeto`s saying nothing of the sort. :unamused:

Depends on what the office are taking off.
Ours now take off every minute you spend on break, not just your 45.
If you’re on double man runs, the bit where you’re in the passenger is also now deducted from your working time.
Some of the home delivery guys are now realising it’s a con that takes working time off them when they’re in the passenger seat, even though they’re still at work.

that’s legally correct because neither break or POA count as working time

If you do not get paid for POA when not driving on MM then I would use other work or quit and if you do not get paid for breaks recorded over the 45 mins then do not record them and use either other work or POA if legally permitted

And me. Neither know nor care.

I’ve yet to be subject to the new POA rules (new to our office using them) as trunking is one man (+drivers mate for stores) but it’ll be a case of manual entries when swapping driving as opposed to 2 cards in from the start.

In all cases, it’s day rate, whether you do 6 hours or 21.

Why manual entries when all other driver has to do is use slot 2 for digi or swap over analogue cards

Authorities are going to think it odd if cards not used when available

Because Slot 2 always defaults to POA every time the wheels start turning?
