Only on trucknet could a whole page of a thread be dedicated to a debate about whether its a van or not!
Well at least it makes a change from sleeping bags

Oops wrong thread. Never called the popo, never will. I always get the impression they prefer to find criminals themselves rather than joe public pointing out things they miss, also my dad would chin me.
No idea if it’s a van, truck or what. I use a light duvet in summer, heavy one in winter.
Side drop panels, and a rear drop , like a door but not a door, the van was like the ones that have greedy boards, he left the yard to drive past the checkpoint off the M5 near Tiverton, did he make it there without getting caught, did the steel sheets decapitated motorists ?
Find out in the next series of Stobvans and tippers.
It sounds like it could be the sort of Transit set-up often favoured by travellers. If this is the case then that probably answers all questions.

Whats a chassic?
a chassic is a chassis once ive hit the right letter
The “Norm” around here is the bigger the van the more that goes on. A soft drinks place near me often puts 4 pallets of coke on a LWB Sprinter and then packs around it with the 5th pallet.
Doesnt a pick-up have sides and/or a tail-gate , with a possible mix of hinged or fixed ? Whereas a flat-bed has no sides and/or no rear tail-gate. . But then it could be a flat-bed with hinged hooks that turns it back into a pick-up when the side boards/tailgate are refitted. :grimacing: . Let
s say for example, you have a cab-chassis with rear body and a removable rear top canopy fitted,
Would that be a van , pickup , or flatbed
or am i being pedantic and picky ?
.
As for the Op`s original question:
I would have to make my decision at the time of the circumstance.
