Would you leave over this

I am , my mates say you can get it back easy enough ( though this isnt the first time )
So on Monday I started at 6 am & logged off at 20.18 ( I actually stopped driving at 19.58 ) , did paper work etc , now for what ever reason if you log off at 1 min past the hour / 15 / 30 it put your finish time on by 14 mins , so log off at 20.18 puts your finish time to
20.30 , it’s been like that for years , mainly for days / nights for time walking to the t/o to book off etc
So tonight I receive a txt , —— —— has altered you 20.30 finish time to 20.00 ( no reason , just alters it )now I just rang up & said I’m finishing thurs , obviously the question is why , so I explain I’m not working for nothing , girl says they may of noticed something , i questioned what , girl didn’t know but said send them a signed time sheet , can’t as I’m not back until thurs & my time sheet is in my bag as it’s Monday , + they don’t sign them as you just clip them to a board which is not in t/o anymore , girl again repeats it must be something they’ve seen , again what , don’t worry we will sort it , doesn’t matter I’m leaving , I will speak to whose done it & find out why , she’s done it before ( normally 15 mins ) , so I’ve no doubt she will do it agai , so I’m leaving , just send your signed time sheet in like everyone else , thurs is my last shift , will speak tomorrow
To me if you’re going to do something you should give a reasonable explanation , though it’s not hard to work out , give a £2 ph pay rise then chip away at it with deductions right left & centre
These petty little things really wind me up , hopefully new job is better , but not holding out much hope
Nb is it actually legal , my tacho , time sheet is now 1/2 different from what she’s put down

They have to pay you to the time you worked, end of. Do you pull your card or just log off microlise?
Either way your tacho has to match your actual worked hours.

Pull the card at 2018, so the minimum your paid will be to 2018, yes in some jobs it would be paid until 2030 others paid by the minute so paid until 2018, certainly not 2000 they are taking the ■■■■ of of you big time.

Don’t feed the troll

Amazing!..

The punctuation marks actually make it harder to read.

So they make a mug out of you continuously for ■■■■ years, run you ragged to the point of you getting a ■■■■ storm and a heavy fine off VOSA, then even after that they continually take the ■■■■ out of you…(all this revealed by your OWN admission btw, not my opinion) ,.and something as trivial as THIS (that can and presumably will be solved after an explanation, …not to mention the concept of ways and means to get money back off them if they’ve ■■■■■■ you off enough) is going to make you leave?? :open_mouth:

C’mon dozy man ffs, as I keep telling you …Get A Grip. :unamused:

Take notes Robroy, there’s going to be an exam later.

Why the ■■■■ does it take you 20 minutes after switching off to “complete paperwork” and “walk to the office”? Short of filling in your end mileage your paperwork should already be completed so that takes 5 seconds to do, eject card, collect bag, walk to office - a couple of minutes at the most. Hand keys and notes in, download card and out of the door. It’s a 5 minute exercise so 8pm finish time seems reasonable to me, 8.15pm finish at an absolute push. 8.30pm is just taking the ■■■■ and sounds like you’ve got form for it hence why they’re docking you time.

Paid to 20.30 wrong probably hanging the job out. Paid to 20.15 correct. Paid to 20.00 wrong unreasonable assumption that required can be completed in 2 minutes. But then everyone thinks that any task can be completed in two minutes.

If you take your card out at 2018 and they only pay to that then you’re working for free after that when you take your keys and paperwork to the office. Always do manual entry the following shift to cover the extra time.

12 mins, from pulling card,to clocking out?

Yeah…right

I’ll want paying UP to the nearest quarter hour.

No, not 12 minutes. 32 minutes, which is taking the ■■■■ to fill in an end mileage on your sheet, eject card, collect bag, lock wagon, walk to office, download card, hand in keys and paperwork and leave. It’s 5 minutes, tops.

You can’t claim that 5 minutes is the limit unless you work from the same yard and know the distances and procedure. 15 minutes should cover it but several drivers waiting to download their card and hand in paperwork and maybe debrief alters things. Office staff will answer the phone and leave you standing.

Engine off to clock off is 30 mins, for me.

Funny. If true then you’re another ■■■■-taker who needs their pay docking.

Don’t you sweep your crumbs out?
Give it a bit of a run round with the anti-bac?

Re-arrange the…

Scatter cushions and top up the potporri.

I don’t eat at work so no as there’s no crumbs to sweep up. Cab cleanliness is usually done when you’re sat at customer premises waiting for them to pull their fingers out of their arse. Shaking the mat and sweeping out any remaining bits from the footwell takes less than a minute anyway.

I think the truth of the matter is these drivers booking an extra 30 mins each day for doing ■■■■ all are the “I’m paid by the hour” types who have nothing interesting going on at home so want to stay at work for as long as they can to milk every penny from the job, ie. ■■■■-takers, which negatively affects the rest of the workforce. You can easily complete your paperwork and gather your belongings together while you’re fuelling up, then it should be less than 5 minutes from driving from the pumps to parking up to leaving the office to your car.

Jimmy riddle?
Wash your hands?
