working for 3663

Sceptic:
In my twenties I would have enjoyed that sort of physical work, but theres no way I can do it now.

ROG:
Might depend on age - when younger I could have done a job like this  but not now :frowning:

Does anyone else find that for many that take up LGV driving in, lets say, their later years, then the opportunities for getting the first job must be quite limiting due to personal physical restrictions

I would agree with that statement ROG I was offered a job at 3663 having done quite a bit of agency for them and Brakes but I knew that I could not do it on a day to day basis every day as a full time job.Maybe being in an office enviroment for the last 10 yrs having previously come from predominantly warehouse background before that I thought that I would be able to get back into the swing of things so to speak but . 3663 was a step to far and to be honest most of the agency jobs I have been allocated to are not much better.

I would still like to get into the transport industry but now know that I have limited my options down. Unless I am able to do something like RDC to RDC … plus the added downfall of having to give 1 mths notice, not very practiacal in transport as usualy want the driver there and then.

steamer:
The advert said £450 per week. That seems quite good to me!!
