just put the word out that hes a kiddy fiddler ,let the dogs onto him
Seriously?
That deffo gets the Overthetop Award
It could end up with the o/p lying unconcious somewhere
Please tell me you’re kidding.
Remind me never to cross you.
if i know someones really dun-me-in on purpose yes thats wat i do. i wouldnt do it for some slight or off the cuff comment but persistent bullying i would . that reminds me,yrs back someone didnt pay me for a days graft it was 300 notes ,didnt cough up simply because they could, and did. i waited a few months then let loose it cost them £10000 ,now that felt good
I know what you mean mate but ffs…brand him a ■■■■■■■■■■.?
Like you, I’ve got sweet revenge before in the past, but in ways I aint gonna divulge on a public forum (as I’d maybe get lifted tbh,) but it was all for pretty heavy stuff that had been done to me or my mates,…and all done when we were younger, so maybe I’d think twice if it was today.
Would I brand somebody a ■■■■ paedo unless he actually was?
Deffo not…end of.
Disproportional grief at it’s worst.
Think if it was genuinely done to you, simply because you had ■■■■■■ someone off.

i actually did have that done to me , by a really vicious ex,me,"the violent child abuser " - but it didnt work, allegations were too extreme ,i mean once i was looked into by the law they saw i was innocent and didnt fit the criteria
luckily id no past criminal record iv a feeling if id even been done for shoplifting as a teenager it could have all been different .
Anyhoo probably as a knee jerk reaction to that i later i had a spell of doing revenges on folk who had diddled me somehow , this stopped me getting bitter n twisted was my thought behind it. But then i stopped that altogether overnight , -id been casually watching a series of youtube vids on the yorkshire ripper, but why?, good god its just to get revenge ideas! and it hit me , youve got to let things go- and ive felt a whole lot better since, i spose it was a release

That makes it even worse if you’ve experienced it yourself.
If I had to imagine what the worst case scenario of false accusation would be, then that would be numero uno on my list.
‘‘You didn’t fit the criteria,’’… there are many who do not fit the recognised profile, but who are complete ■■■■ pond life in reality.
Mate…I don’t imagine for one second the allegation made against you had a modicum of grain of truth, but it could follow you around for the rest of your life with the ‘‘No smoke without fire’’ conclusion jumping crew…you should have been the last to even consider advocating that type of false accusation against anybody, given your experience.
Mud sticks ,.and that sort of mud could take a lifetime to shake off, with all the potential life changing grief that comes with that type of accusation.
As I said before well ott.
I really don’t see this as bullying, they guys ■■■■■■■■ and moaning just like my brother-in-law who worked Mon to Fri and complained about others getting overtime on Sat but when it was offered to him he said “NO, i ain’t working on the ■■■■■■ weekend”.
If he thinks the boss should have given it to him then his beef is with the boss.
I used to get that crap, always from the sick lame and lazy you know the ones moan moan and ******* moan some more, can’t do this can"t do that in fact unable to make any positive contribution on any day ending in a “y”.
I would have the greatest pleasure winding them up like tops, I would lie to them when asked where I was going on that particular day and make out I was always having the cream and starting work at a time that suited me, I would tell them I had been granted holidays at short notice, in fact anything, all of it untrue to make them more annoyed.
These petty minded sad individuals exist in every workplace in every country in every industry on the planet, have fun with them.

Just take a moment to read through some of the responses on this thread and consider for a moment the frequently voiced complaint that lorry drivers are often treated as some kind of undesirable lower-level life form. Then ask yourself why this might be…?
its all a bit odd to me how a grown man can feel bullied at work by his mates, if someone has a problem with your terms and conditions, man up and tell him to mind his own business or simply ignore him, quite simple really. i really wouldn’t give two hoots what anyone else thinks. i get on with all i work with and have had fall outs with people but never felt that I was being bullied. My advice is tell him to pop in and see the planner then hitch up and get on with your day.
Was he bullied as a child and just finds ■■■■ to grumble about ? If he’s got kids and works through the week, why does he want the weekend work, do the kids get on his ■■■■ or something ?
Not really thought about his foundations for whinging really has he ?
There’s probably one whinging ■■■■ in every crew room, and if there’s a few it’s like listening to geese, the job was offered you accepted plain and simple, don’t lose sleep over it and don’t let him wear you down.
I fail to see how this is bullying? Just ignore the bloke and get on with your work, if he wants to get worked up about it, that’s his choice and problem, how is it affecting you?

Exactly man up or get back in your Transit van and deliver parcels
Christ there’s some over the top reactions here, arguably one suggestion could end up with someone seriously hurt or worse and the one making such a suggestion sued for everything they have for slander, what the hell is wrong with people.
It’s a workplace spat caused by envy, and this industry sadly is infested with child like jealous types whether its work or vehicle/equipment allocation (jumping up and down shouting it’s not fair ), you do not get involved in discussions with these people, be like trying to teach a pig to sing a complete and utter waste of time, simply point them to the gaffer’s office then walk away.

Wouldn’t let it bother you. I don’t have time for people like that. Just let him throw his toys out of his pram and just laugh it off and earn that paper [emoji38]
don’t buy a small baseball bat , as you can’t get a proper swing when in a daycab, but it did stop the mouthing off behind my back by a certain wheel attendant I used to work with, not content to whine at work would do it in pub after work ffs . Well that and two big bearded biker friends coming into the yrd and me pointing at said driver and given them bundle o Monopoly money . But it’s no laughing mater I know it needs dealing with. Jimmy
I don’t do extra shifts now , but I’ve known fellow workers / mates who wouldn’t speak for a week if you were asked in on a sat & they weren’t , and these weren’t young kids with mortgages etc , but 60 + blokes , one was in his 70 ,s , when we knocked off on a sat at 12 o’clock him & his merry band would put the full 12 hrs in until 6 pm & if they could swing it they be back on a Sunday morn , in the week the shifts were 6-2 , 2-10 & they’d do 6-2 then go on the saws ,deburring etc until 6 pm
Nutters , but that’s how it was in those days , then when it came to March they’d be trying to sell there holidays claiming they couldn’t manage to get them in , even though they’d had the previous 11 months to do it in .
I remember one place I worked decided you had to retire at 65 , Jesus Christ you nearly had a mass suicide over it , some were on about taking legal advice over it ,
So there you go op it wasn’t any different 30/40 yrs ago
robroy:
To get back to your situation, the only thing I can relate it to it as a similar situation, is the two clowns in our yard who have stopped everybody getting overtime by kipping in their trucks on a Sunday afternoon, and leaving at 5 past midnight instead of leaving a lot sooner on overtime rate. …why ffs.
They do what?! Why the hell would they agree to that!? People like that ■■■■ me off. “boss boss, look what I’m prepared to do to save you money for your new Range Rover”.
That’s annoyed me and I don’t even work at your place
He clearly doesn’t realise that the TM thinks he should be at home with his family on Sundays whereas the OP is in a different domestic scenario perhaps more suited to the shift pattern offered.
Makes sense to have a weekday available as said for appts and whatnot.
Sounds like someone has put some thought into this.
