They’ve not, pic is still there.

I got that pic around 11am this morning advising me woodhead was closed due to that…

Then on radio it kept saying a tanker has gone over and spilt soya milk…

No idea, what happened as I went round

The MEN have got rid of a lot of their photographers so tend to use stock or images sent in from mobile phones mate of mine put on the dole recently due to this

Update: Woodhead Pass - … and shed load of grain, not milk as previously reported."

The milk tipper came around the corner too fast and it fell over.

You have to be really careful with them milk tippers the load moves round so much can easily get out of control or just turns to butter.

They must have a good set of seals on the rear door.

Some time ago we compared fuel consumption for maximum
weight loads of steel ingots (44 Tonnes GVW) moving from Sheffield
M1 Junction 34 to Haydock.

Woodhead versus M1/M62.

M1/M62 consumed less fuel and saved considerable gear + engine wear.

Woodhead is not always the best choice for HGV’s, especially bulk Drivers
who are just trying to milk it.

Indeed. A tight fitting sheet also helps stop the milk slopping out over the sides when you’re doing Woodhead on the limiter.

Not the first time that route has turned out to be sour.

We might hear the udder side of the story soon.

Is Woodhead Mooooving yet?
