seeing alot of lady bus drivers round my way. can’t remember seeing them back in the 80’s and 90’s.
It dawned on me a while ago that I must be getting old,by the number of lollypop wifies I checkout and think,( id do her) there used to only be lollypop men. I recon it all started to wrong when oprah came onto british tv…put it into perspective… theres now wifey firemen… so who would you rather be climbing up the ladder to rescue you…her or some big hairycrack fireman? and has anyone else noticed when theres a plod wifey in the plod car, they always let her drive? why is that? pc correctness for pc plod,or are they told to let her drive to make her feel like one of the lads,or what?

Still few and far between but i did get directions from a lady driver at ASDA to my current position although it did end up with me being told to go the way I know rather than trying to follow the route card which quite frankly, I would be embarrassed to give to anyone. I checked on google maps after and it turns out that the route given is the way I know so I mentioned that to her before I left
I am the only woman driver where I work even at a couple of places I go to but still treat the same as the lads
Never really had a problem with doing the curtains even though I am 4ft 10 " or 147cm in new money if I do get stuck have asked for help but then I have helped them at times so work both ways

Don’t worry about The Dog; by his own admission he’s 40 years behind the rest of the civilised world.
I really admire the women truck drivers, but can’t help feeling that a male truck driver is going without their dinner.

But what good is a man who cant cook
I get treated the same as the guys , I do the same job & don’t get treated any different. I treat other people with respect & help if I can, & receive the same in return.

With the advent of the dishwasher and the Fleshlight, it’s a wonder that women haven’t become obsolete and extinct already.
