Who's Enjoying Their Job?

I started a new job this week, and I can honestly say I really enjoy it. I can’t remember the last time I looked forward to going to work.
Better money, relaxed atmosphere, good lorry, all local work…

Yeah I enjoy mine apart from avoiding the odd Tipper driver hurtling towards me on a narrow country lane when I’m worth 44 tonne

Memo to Muckaway : Youll need to changr your logo`. Smiths will be wanting the
return of their Leyland Bison. :frowning:

Good Luck in your new job , Nathan. Be careful this time.

Cheers, cattle wagon man.

I’ve been loving my job loads after the last 3 weeks, that’s because I’ve been on holiday :sunglasses: , back to work on Monday though :frowning:

wounded

I love my job, I really do. It’s almost exactly what I want to be doing during the working day.

Sadly, I don’t enjoy working for the mega conglomerate that owns us, but I do enjoy working in the small branch environment that I’m in . . . with 2 certain individuals excepted.

The £money could be better, it’s slightly lower than the minimum I’d previously work for but I walked out of a better paying job that I hated when this one came along.

I’d prefer an earlier start, but that’s not really feasible in this job. It would also help if I could choose the team that keeps me running, the picker/loader & the admin/router, sadly these things are beyond my control.

Mine is magic! the money could be better, the truck is fantastic, and the hours are perfect.
I’m a truly happy man.

I enjoy mine, it’s clean easy work driving decent kit, pay and conditions are ok and the hours are on average about 10 hrs a day so get plenty of free time also.

Used to love being parked up in europe, i took my bike and do 40 miles around the lanes, i also had some bar bells in the cab to do some weight lifting to keep fit.
Many drivers would have their 24/45 in a motorway area, and i would not see them leave the cab, i would find the staff exit gate and escape the confines and explore the local area, either hop on the bus to sightsee a large city or found a river to swim in or a public swimming pool, open air in the summer or indoors in the winter.

But what about now ?

Good days and bad days, mostly good days.

I love my job, great truck, great company, great work so 90% of the time im a very happy bunny.

However every know and then i have someone phoning me for a moan that just racks me right off.

Madguy :smiling_imp:

I love mine…Firstly because I choose when I work, I never know where I am going and I always get a different truck to drive…And it is mostly rural work.
They leave you alone to get on with the job and they always say please and thank you.
I don`t need anymore :sunglasses:

I’m loving my new job

I have a great job i get to laugh at Swedish Steel when he destroys stuff

I’m enjoying mine, started just over a month ago, like that I am home every night at a decent time as well as never having to work over the weekend. Decent kit and less hassle from the office, worth the slight drop in wage!

I’ve worked at the same place for 35yrs :open_mouth: Guess that must mean I like it but the first 34yrs were tough
