Mines clean.

Mines clean now. Only had a total of 6 points ever.
1] 3 points for doing 49.3mph with a 4 wheel drawbar trailer instaed of 30mph on the A74 at Beatock in 1976 {Or at least Im sure it was points or could it just have been £15 fine, sorry senior moment}

2] Then got done £60 & 3points 4years ago in my dam car going to work. 38mph in a 30 limit that had not long been dropped from 40.

am clean but i think THATS an offence in this day of age .But what do you expect am a so called trolly dolly after all we dont go over 40 do we :slight_smile:

as a whistle - for now, it’s only a matter of time with the amount of cameras and vans around these days, even though i’m quite good it’s down the the law of averages innit?!

I was on nine points not to long ago Bang all within a couple of month of each other but now I’m clean, but I was talking to one lad the other week who is on twelve points and he has in the cab £800 of gear to let him know of speed traps and cameras.

6, all gained in Scotland within the last two years - 3 coming back from my Granny’s funeral, and 3 on the way to my Dad’s birthday. Have told the family that I won’t be coming back for any more family events :laughing:

Nowadays I stick to the limits, and put up with the tailgaters instead :frowning: :unamused:

2x sp30’s but one of those has expired now and the other is nearly 2 years old.

both of them by coppers hiding in bushes . first one down on the one way system at lyndhurst and the other was going between worcester and jnc 1 of the m50. felt like arguing it but didnt fancy the increased fine and points.

certanly slowed me down

Early days of driving got 6 points for speeding and a few months later got 8 points for something else. No disqualification.

Stayed out of trouble for 3 years to lose that lot then shortly after managed to get 6 points for doing the same thing as I got the 8 points for, but I would have been looking at a disqualification if I hadn’t been crafty enough to report my licence as stolen so that when the replacement came through it was clean … :laughing: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: . The court didn’t bother looking into my past so they thought it was first offence at this particular thing hence only getting 6 points :sunglasses: .

Six months later I got a NIP from a speed camera on the A1 near Berwick so back up to 9 again.

Lost the 6 points now and the 3 points for speeding go at the start of December :sunglasses: .

Got done for D/D back in 75 … Judge gave me 18 month ban for being a cocky devil (norm was 12 months) … never drove during me ban and have never drank and drove again!! Been in this game farrrr too long now to lose my licences. Would not know what else to do

Quite a popular spot, that’s where I got 3 points in 2001, tear arsing down to Peterlee to try and get loaded one afternoon, and still did’nt make it in time. :unamused:
