I tell you what Fatboy. Find the relevant parts in GV262 that supports your argument, and post it here, then we can all bow down to your cold hard facts.
But my guess is you won’t find it, and no amount of posting and will make us think otherwise in the mean time.
Until then I just hope nobody who doesn’t know better reads your posts and take them as gospel. Fatboy Slimslow - doing it wrong for 30 years…

do you work Monday to Friday? Do you do three fifteens and have weekly rest? Now work out a weekend tramping shift starting Friday to Tuesday? Having had a weekend break on Wednesday and Thursday please tell me when a fixed week STARTS? Got it so far? Now the following week aka FIXED WEEK STARTS 00:00 hrs please tell me where and why I couldn’t do another three fifteens? Having not done ANY FIFTEENS THE PREVIOUS WEEK AND NOT INTENDING TO DO ANY FIFTEENS THE FOLLOWING WEEK AFTER HAVING TWO WEEKLY RESTS, not forgetting FIXED WEEKS STARTING AT 00:00 hrs! I’m waiting! Doing it correctly for thirty years.

The driving hours “fixed week” start 00:00 Sunday night / Monday morning. No if’s and no but’s!!! (You cannot change that!)
Weekly rests CAN be whenever in the week you choose, YES you can change that!
You can do 2 number 10 hour drives per FIXED WEEK, and you can have 3 number REDUCED DAILY RESTS between WEEKLY RESTS.
So you see, 10 hour drives and reduced daily rests are governed by different rules!
And as you can only have 3 reduced DAILY rests between WEEKLY rests, it is not possible to have 6 in a row.
They have to be separated by a WEEKLY rest, so 3 is the maximum in a row!
However it is possible to have 4 number 10 hour drives in a row because they come under a different rule, and don’t have to be separated by weekly rests. So if you have your weekly rest midweek, it’s possible to do 2 number 10 hour drives in one fixed week, and start the next fixed week with 2 number 10 hour drives as the rule is reset on a Sunday night. i.e. Sat, Sun, Mon & Tues all 10 hour drives.

Do you know what this Forum needs? Somebody who REALLY understands the driving hours regulations!
Oh, wait a minute - WE are all supposed to understand them, aren’t we?
FFS! Seriously?! I’m new on here and only pop on occasionally, I NEVER expected this to still be running! Bangs head on wall and goes to curl up & rock in the corner of a darkened room

But you are missing a crucial fact, either you’ve done 5 fifteens between weekly rest periods, or you’ve done the same in the fixed week, and possibly both.
As you agree that the fixed week starts 0000 hrs sun-mon,
commencement of the new fixed week
Mon- 15hrs
Tue- 15hrs
Wed- weekly rest
Thu- weekly rest
Fri- 15hrs
Sat- 15hrs
Sun- 15hrs
end of fixed week
Total 5 fifteens in the fixed week
End of weekly rest period
Fri- 15hrs
Sat- 15hrs
Sun-15hrs
Mon- 15hrs
Tue-15hrs
start of weekly rest period
Total 5 fifteens between weekly rest periods.
Which ever way you try to justify it, it don’t work out

He’s actually trying to justify it over 4 weeks, for whatever reason he’s got in his narrow mind. As in week 1 no reducers, 3 reducers at the end of week 2, coupled with 3 at the beginning of week 3, then none in week 4. Somehow his version of the rules is “correct for 30 years”

Ok, well it all sounds rather complicated, much easier to just do 3 in a week max (its often a reduced rest to 9, on a 12 or13hrs day not a 15hr day, though it amounts to the same end). An odd 12hrs split rest to help along the way if needed, which on boxes like we are Jay is not to hard to find
