How did you manage to get a half price one?

mr boss man paid for mine when they bought the new truck also bought two other drivers theirs in case i’m on holiday. strange how his mind works as none of the fitters got any. i consider it mine though and he won’t bee getting it back.
Just been looking through a booklet that came with either the card or the application form called Digital tachograph Card Driver and Company Information, number INS169B published by VOSA. On page 7, part of a list of frequently asked questions there is the following.
15. Q. Can my employer keep my card?
A. No. It is personalised with your details and you are responsible for the safe keeping of it
Thought that information might be useful for anyone who finds them self in the situation where the company paid for it and they want the card if you leave.

but i got sent to the guy who supplies all our spare bulbs/lens/tachos etc to get the thermal rolls the new tachos print out £12 for 3 small rolls! thats dear paper , he says its becasue due to it being a legal document it cant fade■■?
