I have got myself an interview with a local firm on Friday.
I can choose any 5 concurrent shifts I like but it has to include weekend working. As I’ve not done any shift work like this before, what would be the best to go for? Wednesday to Sunday? Thursday to Monday? Etc.
Any suggestions?
Between those mentioned & assuming its morning starts i’d go for Wednesday - Sunday. At least that leaves a bit of an opening on Sunday after work to properly relax & socialise whilst people are about whilst not worrying about going to bed.
Tuesday - Saturday is probably best, but I don’t know whether you have to work both Sat & Sun.

Defiantly Wednesday - Sunday then.
I’d choose the one that finishes on the Sunday. Sunday working is usually relaxed and laid back and would be a nice way to end your week. Then you have Monday/Tuesday to do any business you have when places are open.

I carp fish 
so I started Thursday to monday 
Friday tuesday and ended up on Wednesday to Sunday! 
definitely the best one for me as all the weekend warriors had left when I got to the lake!

Looks like it! I’m not overly concerned by it as one day is very much the same as another.
I like the idea of finishing on a Sunday. It would give me the chance to chill out and get myself ready for the full on two day slob out!

Plenty of people work weekend shifts and have a perfectly good life, depends on the hours. I’ve just started working weekends again (albeit on a rota so I get some off) and the Mrs is glad we can go out on weekdays again, which we prefer. Helps that i’m home by 2pm most days mind you.
weekend working aint that bad leaves you 2 days to sort out stuff you can only do m-f as places close either early Sat shut Sunday + you get 2 days to do stuff when kids are at school
As said finish Sunday it should be a more relaxed day and you might get away earlier, hope they’re paying you handsomely for it !!

I actually do Monday to Friday and yes I do drive an artic as well
