I’d stick with Mercs with the exception of the Axor. Got one now - the most uncomfortable driving position possible. No ASR but that bloody stupid maneuvering thing - what a waste of money on a money saving vehicle. Give me an Actros any day - but do something about the over-sensitive lift axle.
Otherwise, please can I have a go at anything with a “proper gearbox” with no synchro and pre-select gears before inserting wax tacho to ensure early mesh! . I’m sure I could handle one given the chance
