I’d guess they mean a few hours in a shift driving a truck to/from local site/s with the rest of an up to 13-15 hour shift made up of operating out of scope plant on site for the customer/hirer recorded in a manual entry as ‘other duties’.IE it’s a plant operator/driver job not just delivery/collection of customer operated self use plant.
Typical building industry type dross.Look on the bright side probably better than driving a scaffold wagon.You can bet it will mean early starts to load and get to the site before they start work and late finishes to load and back to the yard after they’ve finished for the day. You’re a building site operative with all the responsibility of also driving a truck.
