now a proper driver would of been able to put that truck in a single parking space even between 2 parked cars :exclamation: :grimacing: :laughing: :sunglasses:

I’m a proper driver and I would HAVE parked in the same place. It wouldn’t fit in a car space without catching doors when opening, plus he’s got a great exit position. From the pic there are plenty of spaces available so what’s the problem??

Park between the lines and the spaces either side of the lorry are unusable for anything bigger than a smart car, plus it will encroach on the space behind and do the same there, so this way is actually the best way to do it as it only uses two spaces and also allows the lorry room to get out :bulb:

You also won’t come back to find that some ■■■■■■ has blocked you in :unamused:

It’s even worse when you put it into perspective, that came from a driver, so what are non lorry driving types thinking about that big dirty lorry in ‘their’ car park :open_mouth:

That’s exactly where I would have parked, you won’t get hemmed in and looking at the picture he’s ready to drive straight out.

That’s almost exactly how I did it last week whilst shopping at Tesco at Willenhall, the only difference, I was in the disabled bays and had a trailer on, iirc I took 10 spaces :open_mouth: :grimacing: .

Because supermarkets are well known for the large truck parking spaces. :unamused:

ffs :confused: :unamused: i cant be arsed to reply to the people making sarcastic comments, i only posted this as a bit of humour, tounge in cheek. where was i actually moaning about his parking? i thought the “smilies” i used would of told you that, guess not. some people take things wayyyyyyyyyyy to seriosuly or maybe had sence of humour by-pass :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation: hell i would of probably done the same with my truck. :grimacing:

but if you parked like that and you got a ticket for “not parking within the bays” how would you challenge it, im curious is all, this an ncp patrolled car park i think.

Should be like France where its not frowned upon for a trucker to park in the car park. In fact I have seen quite a few that have truck parking spaces.

Personally, I see it that he’s wasted 3 spaces whereas if he’d just reversed in, he’d have only used 2 and still been able to drive out.

Selfish, self centred, self important… quote = dictionary definition of ‘truck driver’ as set by the public :laughing:

I’ve seen a car park, can’t remember where, but I’m sure it was a Tesco, there was lines painted across the car parking spaces in green IIRC, and at night it became a truck park - obviously wasn’t a 24hr, so still a crappy place to park :neutral_face:

you wouldnt challenge it. you would just ignore it as only council/police issued tickets are enforcable
