I feel I must commend you on your impeccable head movement and a text book leg sweep. The head movement was like a young Herrol Graham I rekon if he had continued swinging all day he would never have connected such were your skills.
It is a pain though when all your trying to do is earn a crust.
is it all a re-enactment from Bad Santa ?

seriously though we are going to need subtitles … this bloke is completely barking, definitely of his meds
I think you did the right thing. Nothing more frustrating than just defending. Makes the attacker feel a prick.
Goodonya Honked. Pity the leg sweep didn’t end up with him kissing the front of your motor… accidentally of course.
Haha class see the cyclist at the end coming in at Mach 3 was he coming to help the ■■■■■■■ the floor lol !! Bet he feels a right ■■■■■ now
ignoring the ■■■■■■ for a second … Who is on the radio, is it Keegan ? if so what radio station is it, I would like to listen to the whole interview

I am sure he would love you for the compliment, but it was Mike Sweeney on BBC Radio Manchester.

Haha I need to comment on the head movement aswell have you had some form of boxing training in the past?
Just shows you driving down the street doing your job and a nothing event turns into that. Wonder if that guy would appreciate someone shouting and swearing in his office environment then offering up a fight.
I kinda had a hot head growing up, no been in a proper fight in about 10 years, mellowed as I’ve got older… So I really don’t know how I’d react in that situation.
Five stars Honked, a very satisfying watch. Well done that man
Surprisingly no comments from the pro cyclists on here who keep telling us it is always our fault, anyone who drives around cyclists a lot will know that their ratio of bellends to sensible riders is far higher than that of any other vehicle.
You have to love all the lads happy with someone handing out a kicking, I wonder if that other driver though he would give those noisy kids a much needed slap, just before they knifed him to death.

There is nothing to go on yet to offer any defence, all we have seen is an idiot in a cycling helmet, we haven’t even seen a bike!, however from what we can see so far I would concede that it is indefensible, the clown with the helmet on is clearly short of a few spokes, and Mr Honked has to be praised for his restraint and calmness. Judging by the helmeted persons behaviour in front of the truck, out of concern for my own safety I would have drove off when he approached the drivers door. However there is always two sides to these incidents and it would be interesting to learn what caused the bearded buffoon to flip.
It is encouraging though that you don’t believe bellendery is 100% within cyclists, some truckers wrongly believe it is!

They’re always predictably quiet on threads like this. But as soon as someone starts a thread with a lorry driver being at fault in an incident with a cyclist they come charging out the woodwork to condemn drivers and demand more be done to protect cyclists.
Full video now open for public viewing.

Pity!!!Pity the fool that gets upset about a minor incident…
Pity the fool thinks a fight will solve anything…
Pity the fool that thinks they have gained anything from the confrontation…
Are you Mr T.?
Why even get involved?
If you kept the doors shut all he would be able to do hit the cab and he would quickly get bored of that if you didn’t respond.
It takes one idiot to punch a vehicle, but it takes two idiots to have a brawl in the middle of a street.

Thanks, but there was only one person brawling here.
Peace out maaaan haha.
You big bad bully.
Nothing to see here move along.
Another dash cam warrior can you get one with sound on?
Or turn the radio off next time.
Good luck with the assault charge I presume your pressing charges?
But would this incident really have happened without a dashcam??

Thanks for the patronising compliment, as a cyclist, while there are idiots like this around then the cyclists will just be regarded as idiots by the majority of road users. The guy with the helmet (after all we haven’t seen a bike) so we must assume that he is a pedestrian who falls over a lot and therefore needs a helmet was lucky not to be have been knocked out, the OP certainly looks like someone who can look after himself due to the way he handled the situation a retaliatory right hook there would certainly be viewed as self defence.
The cyclist here is quite obviously a bellend which can be seen by all those except those who don’t want to see
Honked:

It takes two to have a fight.
When the cyclist started off I thought “what a bellend”, when you got out of the cab to confront someone who was obviously spoiling for a fight I thought “what a pair of bellends”.
