What it is…
After getting bored playing the drums in a thrash metal band and to the total shock of the other band members i quit and sold my drumkit (black 9 piece pearl export with zildjian cymbols for anyone who’s interested) and bought a set of decks (Technics SL1210’s for anyone who’s interested) and got into the whole rave scene playing happy ■■■■■■■■ then i moved onto drum n bass then got into hard house and my DJ name was “DJ Reflex” which got turned into the nickname of “Reef” by my mates and stuck. So when i got into chatrooms, forums and such it was the obvious and natural choice.
If you know my real name then your truly honoured and special, if you dont then dont worry its not your fault its just that your not priviliged or popular enough…

Got my ex-missus to blame for mine! During one of our regular and interminable rows she called me a “nasty little gnome” and it stuck! 
One of our drivers is known as “Minty” ; he’s always “After Eight”.

my user name is the username i was given at college to log onto the computers and i have used it ever since for usernames, its a name that has yet to say SORRY USER NAME ALREADY TAKEN when registering on a web site.
basically it is the first three letters of my surname PEC
first 3 letters of my first name JAM
and my birthday is on the 23rd of the month, hence PECJAM23
however when i first registered i didnt think of the fact that would be the name displayed when i posted, had i relalised would of thought of something else.
