You cant leave it there, tell us about Puff and Blow :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe he was a friend of ■■■■■■00

This is not a Trucknet nickname but the most apt name ever come up for anyone I have ever met was Ivor Defect, a lad from the north east who had an Iveco on Bailee Freight many years ago. Whenever he was given a job he didnt like, the name was used until it stuck.

In the days of log books I used to work with a guy who the even the T.M. called Tony Timeup. If he was asked to do a job in the afternoon, well you can guess his reply.
At the same company we had an Edd the ball, Eddie Datsun and a Mudflap.
When my brother in law drove a taxi, there was another driver who all the other drivers called The Town Hall Clock, he never stopped working.

Hi Mick, Would you be the same Mick that was on Barco in the 80s??

'Scuse me for asking, but there’s a coincidence in that The Mick I knew went to work for Fransens (doing Poland??) and had a bit of a stutter. Could it be you??

The gap was an essential part of the Foden air conditioning system, it had to be adjusted to a very fine tolerance. I THINK that there was a special tool (part number 13274) to set it by, but as long as you could get most of your hand through then it wasn’t that far out.

Pete.

I picked this name because it’s the proudest moment of my life and woth being known by.

When i registered on the new style forum I’d just returned from my 6 month trip around the world and got myself a part-time job driving for P & O Ferrymasters out of Fleeetwood.

Loved the job & was feeling quite good about myself & things in general really. Hence, in a bit of a big headed way really i suppose, Driver One UK. (as i only do uk work) [sadly].

I often wonder if people do see it as Driver 1 UK & not “Driver onny uck” (say it as you see it).
