Be cautious with the ‘diet’ drinks.
Apparently, your body prepares for the influx of sugar it senses is coming its way, and starts to generate insulin…but there’'s no sugar for the insulin to work on…
If you can, ‘re-educate your taste’…go for sour/bitter flavours…lemon etc. Difficult at first, but eventually it becomes ‘normal’ and makes a lot of sweet things taste quite nasty. Try Roses lime squash as a starter. I actually like eating lemons!
