as once explained to me by a very nice police officer who give me some words of advice rather than a ticket - It is not a Dual Carriageway.

50mph in England and Wales as it’s a single carriageway class road.
I’m Scotland it would be 40mph
I will be so glad when the driver CPC comes in and starts to take effect. 
50 , to constitute being a dual carriage way it must have a solid central reservation with or with out barriers
Why the 60mph sign ? when the national limit for cars on single is 60 any way !
i reckon its my turn to be the one…
why 50? it is not a national speed limit zone which limits the speed to 50 indeed
so theres no excuse for when you get done speeding as itl be a highly policed entrapment area…though why the o/p would be driving a truck and need to ask what the speed limit is for hgv somewhat escapes me.

To remind car drivers that the NSL is 60 and not 70.

We don’t but the road sign says max 60 mph and as being classified as a single carriage way road then 50 mph applies
