Whats the most?

Big Joe:

Lucy:
835km in 10 hours, Southampton to Carlisle on my way to Glasgow. 20ft box with about 2 tonnes of wicker furniture in it.

Just think, if you had’nt been such an angel and stuck to 50mph on the A34, it could of been a few more km’s  :grimacing:

Since when have I been an angel? It was going through the berth that knocked it down.

1300km

Either your odo is buggered, that was more than one shift or more than one driver, Gogz. Because it sure as hell isn’t legally possible otherwise. :unamused:

about 700ish km Aberdeen - Birmingham

mine was on a sunday(dare i admit this to the more “switched on” amongst you) 826 kms, left teesport did inverness, and ran back down to pitlochry in a 10 hour dead drive.
i have come close, and most weeks in a 9 hour drive im always above 600+k"s,in a 10 usually into the 700"s.

i did 760kms in a 10hr stint. from our yard in tipton to load at tividale, then on to hamilton. from there on to evanton, just above inverness. that was a long day!

1369 legally, but on a 13 shift which is legal here. If I had been on Hwy1 instead of 16 I could have capped 1400. In Europe I think it was the high 800s but can’t remember now. That said, we used to beat the miles a bit before the trucks had limiters. I know that I got over 900 more than once. Can’t remember how completely legal it looked now though.

I do about 450km…in a week !!!

When i do ASDA Washington from Brackley it about 726 km all out driving, dont like it but we take turns to cover it :open_mouth: usually a good 9hr 50 drive

I have done 868km on the way to Italy, trip computer said I had averaged 87km/h (and it only fell from 88km/h near the very end of the shift).

On the limiter for ten hours apart from deccelarating and accelerating for two breaks and about four times at peages.

That’s why I prefer euro work.

In Russia, which obviously does not use eu rules, I’ve done 1200km in a shift before.

my max on this job was 720 k,s. aint done that for a while though. now i seem to do around 550 to 650km,s

As other euro-drivers will confirm, running bent was endemic back in the 1980s on continental work and one-hitting it back from Milan was fairly common (although your tacho would only say 750km  ).

I did about 750Km a couple of years back with my 8 wheeler.

Chelmsford - Wakefield - Hull - Chelmsford but coming back down M1

Someone met me a South Mimms with a van and brought the wagon home whilst I drove the van.

Naughty naughty

850 kms was quite easy to achieve in the olden days.

Circa 860Km . St Etiene west of Lyon to Calais. Sub 10 hours. Last summer.

Did 719km on thursday, ran from southampton to warrington across to bury then got back to chievely on the A34/M4 to tip in newbury for friday morning on a 9hr 18m drive

not sure why,but this post makes me smile…ohhh the good old days(even though i never actually drove then and was still probably drinking milk from a bottle!).

I did 742 km on Thursday which is the most I can remember doing. May have clocked more a few years ago but can’t remember.

A tadge over 800 kms on a 10 hr through France - anybody that says they have done more legaly in Europe is a kin liar.
