mine was on a sunday(dare i admit this to the more “switched on” amongst you) 826 kms, left teesport did inverness, and ran back down to pitlochry in a 10 hour dead drive.
i have come close, and most weeks in a 9 hour drive im always above 600+k"s,in a 10 usually into the 700"s.
i did 760kms in a 10hr stint. from our yard in tipton to load at tividale, then on to hamilton. from there on to evanton, just above inverness. that was a long day!
1369 legally, but on a 13 shift which is legal here. If I had been on Hwy1 instead of 16 I could have capped 1400. In Europe I think it was the high 800s but can’t remember now. That said, we used to beat the miles a bit before the trucks had limiters. I know that I got over 900 more than once. Can’t remember how completely legal it looked now though.
As other euro-drivers will confirm, running bent was endemic back in the 1980s on continental work and one-hitting it back from Milan was fairly common (although your tacho would only say 750km ).
Did 719km on thursday, ran from southampton to warrington across to bury then got back to chievely on the A34/M4 to tip in newbury for friday morning on a 9hr 18m drive
