What's the best piece of advice

One I saw on here, Take some gaffer tape and some WD40, if it moves but shouldn’t use the tape, if it should move but doesn’t use the WD40.

Serious : In every job in the world from fire fighters to nursery teachers, from bin men to accountants, EVERYBODY works to one set of rules. In a truck drivers job, everyone you work with has their own set of rules.

thats very very true.

and whats more importantly true is ALWAYS COVER YOUR OWN ARSE, cos nobody else will.

someone once said to me when i was a lot younger, he was ex army, and said to me always remember A B C - Always Be Covered.

i thought he was being a bit of a fool at the time, but he was right, everyone MUST learn that one the hard way though, cant be told.

i also got told that, and have always remembered it,i agree with rikki too about you start learning once you have passed your test.

one my brother got told the other year, which i thought was a classic:

One of my earliest reccollections from a distant childhood. my Grandad had just sat me on a tree trunk after an extremely long walk/talk.
