mc donalds, fish and chips, mcdonalds, fry up, mcdonalds, kebab, mcdonalds… and so it goes
Remember the two fat ladies, the big one that’s still alive has done a book called, one pot cook book. Our lass got it me last Xmas. That’s what I do.
Eat from the menus from that.
I also make my own sarnies too.
Pre fidges in the truck it used to be tins of chilli con carne, spag bol, maybe with something fresh if I could get somewhere to shop during the day.
But my last stint of tramping I had a fridge in the truck and some inspiration from Luke video’s, so I’d make things like Spag Bol and put them in plastic containers or could keep some fresh meat and veg.
Meatballs with pasta is pretty easy, cook the fresh meatballs, cook the pasta and add the meatballs and a tin of tomato’s heat-up and eat out of same pan, wash down with beer or wine, job done.

I,m more of a taglatelle verde man with a cold glass of chardonay or a tepid chateau neuf du pape
Cheap bags of crisps (40p for 6 bags) Tomatoes and Oranges…oh and Milicano coffee…

I try to have as little bread as possible, stacked with calories (about 70 each slice). I tried wraps instead but each one is knocking on for 200 calories, that’s before you have put anything in it!
right lets get this straight
a slice of bread is 70 calories
so to cut back on t he calories
you swapped the bread for a wrap wich is 200 calories

None of which I realised till I was sat looking at the packet of wraps whilst eating 1 for the 1st time. Sometimes what you think may be the healthy option is not always the case.
Having spent most of my working life in the UK and driving beautifull Scania’s, Volvo’s and MAN’s etc for the life of me I cant figure out how you find room to eat in those cabs let alone cook ? I have a huge cab compared to those and have to actually walk to the sleeper, which has lots of cabinets and a pull out table and I have a job to eat a hot meal thats been previously cooked.
a loaf of bread and some cheese will stop you getting hungry for 2 days
Mainly roadkill, and when I’m thirsty I drink the Tizer that folk kindly leave lying around.
Mine usually consists of anything off the menu of the hungry horse establishments.

Do they still pile the plates high with peas and sweetcorn? Our local one is probably the worst place to eat in the whole town, which when you cosider that I live in Rhyl, is quite a feat!
I used to cook quite a bit, but cleaning up after was too much hassle. Plus my duvet stank of fried food. Now its either a packet of crisps or microwave meal cooked in the frying pan, eaten straight from the frying pan and frying pan licked clean after. Simples.

You have not lived until you have tried snails in garlic sauce.Where do you buy snails fae in the uk or do you catch them yourself?
ahahahaha!! that really made me laugh lol.
Definitely liking toby’s diet though, some very tasty sounding food mentioned there mate. Sounds more like a quality mobile restaurant than a lorry driver’s cab
never cooked in the cab in my life. Cooked chicken fae tosco or fish supper. Why would you want to ■■■■ about like that? Then all the washing. ■■■■ that. I have never understood why men ■■■■ about in lorries cooking a meal at night. Just go to pub or carry pre-packed stuff you can scoff. who do you think you are Jamie fnn oliviere?
