What's is the UK's highest mileage working truck?

The truck ive got right now is a 58 plater with 800k kms on it,

Its double shifted and basically only stops for 4 hours a day. does something in the region of 900kms a day or something.

penrith - perth - inverness - perth - penrith

repeat 5 days a week.

The 54 plate 124m 420 I use has 3.8m and a few 000km’s and covers between 18-22000 every month. The 05 plate 420 has a bit more than that, but doesn’t cover as much mileage at night, so i’m gaining fast. The 61 plate CF unit has about 60k on…much of that going to DAF at Theale!! As Essexboy will tell ya, we like to hang on to 'em! Anything bigger than a rigid will have millions of km’s on them, as the bulk of them are on day/night trunks and normally double shifted.

Many of our 55 plate dafs are showing 1.6 and 1.7 million kms, promised new ones next year, possibly

What about the youngest truck with high mileage, was on 58 reg last week with 979000 on clock

I drive a Merc Axor, have had it from new (61 plate, September 2011) & it’s currently on 115000k. How on earth has a 4 year old truck clocked up nearly a million ks? That would be nearly 3000 miles a week!!

Was on 61 reg yesterday with 257133 on clock

My 57 plate FH has just past 1000000 kms ,not bad for a one driver trampers truck. Most was put on when doing the Spain every week, not many kms on the Brittany trunk nowadays.

Hi, All

The company I used to work for has just disposed of some 04 plate Fm12’s with 900000+kms on .
And they are fitted with I-Shift boxes.

Cheers Bassman

Could it be Bob with the F88 and timber trailer?
