We have a thing at our place where if there’s no work and you stay for six hours before getting sent home you’ll get paid a full shift, or you can get paid for the time you’ve been there and go home immediately.I always choose the latter. I’d rather lose a bit of money and be at home personally but that’s just me.

I would find another job rather than face 9 hours sat in a car with myself doing nothing.

It was showing 250 miles to empty when I got here , at this rate of use age I won’t get home today , it’s either freeze or walk by the look of itIt’s hard work doing nowt, Mind numbing. Speaking of miles left in tank til empty, A youtuber over in the states that I watch bought himself a used Dodge Hellcat for Xmas & when he picked it up from the dealership the digital display was showing petrol tank 75% full, The range on a 75% tank was 95 miles

Apx 25 miles , so home / back / home would be 75 miles , you’ve got to pass t/o to leave site so would see you ,mrs wouldn’t come to get me , just had a walk , got a tea/ cake , they’ve rang , office & said you can go early if you sign a waver ( get paid what you do

One of there drivers said they have a nightmare getting drivers employed / agency , that’s why there doing what there doing , don’t want to loose anyone

Though H&S would be having kittens with you sat in your car in those temperatures as they have duty of care and should have provided you with somewhere suitable to wait until the end of the shift, but if they do put you somewhere just make sure you’re not watching ■■■■ and whacking one out with other people around

As for duty of care , I’m agency , they couldn’t give a ■■■■ , they might the next time they ask me to cover for one of there trampers , up yours
