I am but it’s nearly 3 hrs now , temp is starting to drop
Read a good book dear boy, recline seat, read, drink tea, snooze now and again, be grateful someone is fool enough to pay you to have a lazy day on your arse at full pay rate.
If there’s some totty spotting potential move car to prime spot for best results.
If this is regular invest in a Kindle, if you have Amazon prime you can get lots of free books from the Kindle library, for more choice a Kindle Unlimited subscription is excellent value.

I was wondering if they’d know / care if I popped to the pub for a cider , though 1 normally one leads to 5/10 & a park bench , probably not the best of idea

Brush up on Delia Smith recipes for homemade pasty?
It was showing 250 miles to empty when I got here , at this rate of use age I won’t get home today , it’s either freeze or walk by the look of it
1/2 way through shift , 4 hrs 30 , ■■■■■■■ this is painful , like a slow death , know how those poor people who live in there cars feel now
If they did a rspca for lorry drivers I’d report these now
We have a thing at our place where if there’s no work and you stay for six hours before getting sent home you’ll get paid a full shift, or you can get paid for the time you’ve been there and go home immediately.
I always choose the latter. I’d rather lose a bit of money and be at home personally but that’s just me.
I’d continue perfecting my trolling techniques on internet forums.
So far I’ve had two days of sitting in the car before being told to go home on full pay…
I just snoozed, drank tea, watched YouTube, read the posts on here and drank more tea!!
If you have a good Internet package on the phone watch films on Netflix!!!

Sounds good , never had a job like that , though have had a few good t/o lads / mates who’d sign you up for shift if you got back early , but more the minority than majority

It’s hard work doing nowt, Mind numbing. Speaking of miles left in tank til empty, A youtuber over in the states that I watch bought himself a used Dodge Hellcat for Xmas & when he picked it up from the dealership the digital display was showing petrol tank 75% full, The range on a 75% tank was 95 miles
LOL.
