Isn’t there a “hotline” where you can report a suspected drunk driver, or is that just over christmas?
IMO there is no excuse for drunk driving.
Do whatever makes you feel good, If you have to ask ?
I’d phone the old bill. If there’s empty cans on the floor there’s a good chance that he’s trollied.
Guess you’d just give a good description of both his car, and your truck so the police could pick you out of the traffic?
Ask yourself this question. How would you feel if you heard on the news that a drunk lorry driver had wiped a family out in a crash, and it turned out to be the one you passed with the can of Stella in his hand?
Guilty that you never said something at the time that could have stopped him? If so, then report him. If not, let him crack on.
No question, phone the police. If he’s sober, no harm done; if he’s pole-axed, he’s off the road.

Exactly, and I’m disappointed with currently 28% of the vote! 
He’s probably drinking the rest of the cans at home by now.

and how the hell did you see the cans rolling around in his footwell? its impossible to see the footwell in a lorry next to you on the motorway.you would be at least four to five feet apart-i think you didn’t really see this happen and you are talking ■■■■■■■■.
Get in front of him and slam the brakes on so he are ends you them tell cops he rammed you shouting ■■ the police

OK,here’s what I did.
Rang the police gave his reg,reg model ect and what jct he was at in the traffic.
Couple of hours later got a phone call off a motorway police officer thanking me for my call,turned out he was over the limit by some way,coppers words.
Anyone that disagrees with what I did is welcome to come meet my friend and his 4 year old daughter who lost his wife/mummy to a drunk driver 2 years ago.

you are talking ■■■■■■■■-you cant see whats in the footwell of a car next to you in standing traffic on the motorway.
If true you did well ■■■■ what anyone says about being a grass, I’m sure most of us have driven over even if it’s the next day. I’d of had no complaints being pulled and caught, this guy was drinking on the go which is just ridiculous it’s not 1970 any more.

I’ve had a relative knocked down and left for dead one xmas eve, friends killed due to a drink driver… so I hate them with a passion so I wouldn’t give it a second thought of ringing the fuzz

It was probably a car driver.
